Diana+

The Diana was originally made as a cheap camera and was sold for a pound. It has now been brought back as the Diana+. This new lomographic version has all the same aspects as the original apart from it now has a removable lens with a pin hole underneath.

I have mainly been using 35 mil film at the moment as it is cheaper but the diana was built for medium format (120). Because i am using a smaller format than is needed the sprocket holes are visible and photo covers them. I will be trying some of that out again at some point.

Im not overly happy with the way these photos came out. I think the problem with lomographic camera's is that they need to be used in bright sunlight.

FishEye TECHnology

I have been experimenting with my lomographic fisheye camera. I have been using it mainly at night. At first the pictures came out very dark. To solve this i added a larger external flash and it seemed to work. Having two flashes also allows you set each one off at different times, creating interesting effects.

FRUiTS>>>>>

I really like the concept of this magazine. I also fund it visually interesting and intriguing. It is basically a collection of photographs taken around japan. It shows the weird and wacky dress sense seen around japan.

I watched this film last night. I thought it was brilliant. The plot was very clever and christian bale was very convincing and played the part amazingly well. He lost a lot of weight for this film which shows commitment.
